1991年開(kāi)始擔(dān)任母校弘益大學(xué)字體專(zhuān)業(yè)的教授。1997－2001年間擔(dān)任國(guó)際平面設(shè)計(jì)協(xié)會(huì)聯(lián)合會(huì)的副會(huì)長(zhǎng)，2001年漢城TypoJanchi展的主席，1998年他榮獲克羅地亞國(guó)際平面設(shè)計(jì)及視覺(jué)傳遞展（Zgraf8）大獎(jiǎng)，2007年榮獲德國(guó)萊比錫古藤堡獎(jiǎng)。

In 1991 he began his professorship in Typography at Hongik University, his alma mater. He was vice-president 1997-2001 of Icograda, and the chairman of TypoJanchi 2001. He was the 1998 recipient of the Grand Prix of Zgraf8, and the 2007 Gutenberg Award from Leipzig, Germany.
